Вчера вечером мы написали Godfrey Deeny (критик и аналитик моды, главный редактор портала Fashion Wire Daily, международный представитель Kiev Fashion Days) и поинтересовались, чего он ожидает от предстоящего Kiev Fashion Days.

"I am very excited to come this weekend to Kiev - to see
your young designers on the catwalk, check out funky stores like Pure or hot mega label boutiques happening and meet all the foreign and local artists - especially Pete Doherty!!

Fashion is all about connecting – people, ideas, beauty and Romance - and your Kiev Fashion Days is a fantastic meeting of East and West. I am keen to see the latest ides from local designers - Valery Kovalska’s snappy modernism, Sasha Kanevski's conceptual street chic or the self-assured ladylike creativity of Lilia Poustovit.

And I’m excited to see just see what cool Ukrainians will wear to the shows , lectures and parties in Kiev – their own unique brand of street style and artry conceptualism, their clever mix of elements of high-end Italian and French labels with quirky local ideas.

And, like any man with good vision, I’ll be happy to witness again the great beauty of Ukrainian women – their enthusiasm, smiles, figures and quick wits; the hardy hipness of local clubbers, the off beat costume jewelry and the moves on the dance floors.

So, you must understand, I am expecting four very stimulating days in Kiev. See you Friday!"

Честно сказать, мы были приятно удивлены тому, что Godfrey не проигнорировал заданный нами вопрос, дав на него емкий и интересный ответ!
